This is Jake. Never expect him to shave, and you will never be disappointed.

Whew! I'm in a terrible rush, so I'll add comments later and maybe touch up a few spots on this page (particularly the nonexistent backgrounds).

Edit: Yeah, the lockers are kind of... better. Now. It's very nice to have such an easy background (excuse me, "environment") to draw for the school setting. Panel lacking dimension? Add some lockers! Panel lacking visual interest? Add some lockers! Man, oh man, what am I going to do once we leave the hallways? :)

"Deino" like the pokemon? I kid! So a dino walking through the halls of the school isn't quite as odd to them as it is the us. Hmm...

Her expressions are all great here! Looking guilty, looking sick, and then just looking ticked-off. All excellent.

Thank you! And I didn't know there was a pokemon named Deino, lol! I just figured it was a good word to use because it is a latin root, meaning great and terrible, in the word "dinosaur".
If it's already got an association with pokemon, maybe I should switch to a different word. What do you think? Is my use of the word deino going to be distracting for anyone?

And, of course, I'm loving that Jake's the opposite. And that up-shot of him in panel one is so great. You really do a great job knowing your forms and drawing accordingly. Very dimensional designs that still are very shape-oriented. It's awesome.
