I'm certainly enjoying holding his identity over my readers' heads, and I think it's great that you all have so many different interpretations, but I also think that it will increase comprehension once you know who he is. So here's my question: Do you want me to tell you who I intended him to be? If so, when?

Sarah. I think I'm going to cry for you, and then start a pool on how long you'll survive without it. (My own personal bet is that you'll have a nervous breakdown within the first twenty-four hours, but you'll slowly deteriorate at the hospital, so it'll be a full week before you're really dead.)
Staying up too late... Watching copious amounts of Ghibli animation... Baking. Yes. Id' say you only have two weeks to live.
