Things seem to be winding down a bit. Some news networks have been able to get in and start broadcasting, so it's much easier to find updates than it was a couple of days ago.
If there was any argument against heavy gun control, though, Libya would be it. Government employed soldiers firing on innocent citizens who cannot pick up arms to defend themselves because they don't have any. People have died, children have been injured, and everyone's still hiding out. I feel like it would have been over much faster if weapons were in the hands of the people, if only for intimidation purposes.
Their internet is pretty blotchy, and I thought government control was fading, but perhaps not quite yet. But I hope things end well, and soon.
Please, if you're the praying type, pray for the people involved.
