Guess what, guys? I'm getting ready for my animation application! I'm preparing my portfolio, and getting really excited, and nervous, and butterfliesinthestomachaaaaauuuugh!
They ask for figure drawings, a sketchbook, an animation, some story ideas, and a list of things that have influenced us in the past few months (movies, books, artists, etc.) I've been working hard on my stuff, but I'm still worried. My figure drawings are not even close to where I'd like them to be, and that's the most important thing on the application... But I'll work extra hard in what little time I have left, and hopefully I'll be able to scrap together five decent drawings by application day.
Augh! I'm just so excited at the prospect of getting into the program! How awesome would it be to have a sense of direction this summer?!
Plus, (in case you wanted to know what I listen to) Here's what I got with an iTunes splurge last week:

*Crawl from Nabari no Ou
*Chowa Oto -With Reflection- by Kokia

If anyone cares to try and classify my musical tastes, this list is kind of a good indication of what I listen to. Except this is the first time I've ever bought music in Japanese ^^ I also like The Fray, Enya, Addison Road, Josh Groban, Train, Remedy Drive, Yanni, Missy Higgins... Yeah. I'm not at all sure if my tastes can be classified as anything other than "eclectic". But I'd be curious to see what you guys call it
