This week, starting Monday, my church is doing an interesting activity: We can choose to live like missionaries for the next week. We can apply as many of the rules as we want, and in my case, I'm going to refrain from using the computer for anything non-church (or school) related. This means no Deviantart, so sorry if I don't reply to your messages until next week.
If you want to find out more about this activity, read on!
I'm a member of the LDS (or Mormon) church. In our area, we've decided to learn about missionary work and live like missionaries for a week. Some of the general mission rules include, but are not limited to:
*Dressing in Sunday clothes every day and keeping up a clean appearance
*Bed by 10:30pm, awake by 6:30am
*Listening to reverent music
*Regular prayers (Morning, night, meals, whenever it's needed)
*Consistent scripture study (Say, for twenty minutes every day. Our scriptures include the Bible.)
I'm going to follow all of these rules but the Sunday dress one. I just don't have enough skirts to dress up for a whole week. But wish me luck on the rest of it!
